Is mileage included within the GTA?
We charge a dispatch/drive-time fee instead of per-mile. The exact amount depends on your city — please request a quote and we’ll confirm it upfront.
What is the minimum booking?
3 hours per crew. We’ll recommend the right truck and crew size based on your home and city.
Do you handle condo moves and elevator bookings?
Yes. We work with GTA condo rules daily. Please reserve your service elevator/loading dock with property management and share any time windows or forms.
Do I need a street parking permit for downtown Toronto or high-density areas?
Rules depend on the street signs and whether you need to hold space at the curb. For downtown and high density areas, keep these in mind:
Loading rules by sign type:
In No Parking zones, active loading and unloading is generally allowed.
In No Standing or No Stopping zones, loading and unloading is not permitted.
Temporary or visitor permits:
On residential permit-parking streets, short-term permits exist mainly for passenger vehicles. They do not reserve a space and do not override posted restrictions or time windows.
Reserving curb space or occupying a lane:
If you need to hold curb space, place cones or ramps, or use part of a travel lane, you will need a Street Occupation / Right-of-Way permit from the City.
Are my items insured?
Yes. Your belongings and our team are covered during the move. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (Northbridge Commercial Insurance) upon request.
Do you supply packing services and materials in all service cities?
Yes. Full/partial packing and unpacking across the GTA, with boxes and materials available.
What if weather impacts my move?
Your safety and the safety of your items come first. In severe conditions (ice, heavy snow, extreme storms), we may adjust crew timing, bring extra protective gear, widen the arrival window, or reschedule if necessary. We’ll communicate with you promptly if any change is needed.
What if my city is not listed?
We service the GTA plus surrounding neighborhoods beyond this list. Ask for a quote with your address—we’ll confirm availability and the dispatch fee, if any.
