Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I need a street or curb permit at my address

Some streets require a temporary street occupation or curb lane permit, especially downtown and along streetcar routes. Share your exact address and time window and we will advise the correct permit path and handle it on request.

Only if the lot allows commercial vehicles and the truck fits entirely inside the marked spaces (Buying two tickets won’t help). Rules vary by location. Leave your address in the quote form and we’ll check the lot and arrange a curb permit if needed.

Yes. We issue Certificates of Insurance naming your building or management company when requested, bring door and floor protection, and match crew timing to your booked window.

Early morning or late morning starts avoid peak congestion. For core areas like King West, Financial District, and Yonge–Bloor, mid-day windows can move faster once rush traffic clears.

Underground garages are too low for moving trucks. We load from the service bay or curb with dock reservations where available. Tell us any dock height limits and we will assign the right truck.

Don’t worry — our team monitors Toronto traffic and closures in advance. If there’s a disruption, we’ll adjust the route or timing to keep your move on track, and keep you updated along the way.

We do not accept illegal parking requests. When the City requires a permit, we secure it in advance to prevent fines. That said, if a ticket does happen during your move, we cover the cost.
